Started in 2001, the Dot NAME generic domain extension is the sole TLD supposed to be for personal sites only. These domain names can be personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other labels people are known by. At the beginning, just third-level registrations were possible, so if you wished to buy john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already grabbed third-level domain names remained working.

You will be able to correct the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an active domain to our company if you get its EPP transfer authorization key from the present registrar firm and we will renew it once the transfer has been finalized.
